Description: Weber Knapp requested a new look to their site after the first design I completed in the Spring. With this revamp, I incorporated some of their historical photos to signify their 100 year anniversary.

Description: Earlier this month we went live with a new sit for Weber Knapp. One of the major issues to tackle was a lack of traffic and leads. A Google Adwords campaign was added to the site to help increase traffic. I always suggest this with a major renovation. We did rename some pages so the error 404 missing page will pop up. We created a custom 404 page for the site to ease the new transition. A corporate blog was added to the site to help increase outward links and communication with the customer. Customers can subscribe to the RSS feed or subscribe for online updates via email. Navagation was pumped up on the site as well. We recreated the product pages and tried to incorporate back links and better navagation with a redesigned left navagation border. Also increasing the site's call for action buttons will create a more open channel between sales and potential customers. With over 100+ pages and numerous downloads the site took three months to recreate. We're already updating the site with new products and redesigning literature to match. The previous site used dark colors such as pinks and purples with red text. Never a look I would suggest for a corporate site but also it was very difficult for people with sight issues to view the site correctly. We lightened up the backgrounds with a white and dark navy background combined with a grey accent. We incorporated a basic flash photogallery provided in the new Photoshop CS3 package for a number of the products. Not only did this achieve a more modern look from the previous site it also made the pages more uniformed.
